묘화(妙火, Mysterious fire), 2014 SILO Lab. 익숙하던 대상을 더 이상 볼 수 없다는 것이 각자에게 어떻게 다가오는지 의문이 들었습니다. 백열전구는 사라져가고 있습니다. 합리적인 이유로 그것은 다른 것으로 대체되어 가고 있고 제도로써 그 사라짐은 더 명백해졌습니다. 평소에 백열전구를 즐겨 사용하던 것은 아닙니다. 애장하던 물건은 아니지만 찾기 어려운 존재가 되어갈 이 것들에 대한 나름의 인사를 보냅니다. I’ve become curious about how individuals would feel when they could not get to see familiar objects any longer. Incandescent lamps have been forgotten among people. They are replaced with the other things due to some logical reasons, and regulations have kept them from being produced in more numbers. Well, I did not use incandescent lamps that much. Although I did not cherish them that much, I am giving my farewell to those who are becoming hard to be found.
